From Portland freelancer Scott Sepich (@SSepich): “With all the resting players, there’s a definite preseason feel to this game despite a nice crowd. David Stern does not approve.”
———
From Sepich, again: “Most of the drama tonight surrounds how the crowd will react to WHL VP Richard Doerksen presenting the Hawks with the Scotty Munro Trophy.”
———
From Paul Buker (@Pnbuker): “Rich Doerksen did not get booed out of building when he awarded munro trophy. . . . Por fans take high road #thewhl”
